LINK strives to always be at the forefront of the engineering and technical requirements for brake testing to support the needs of our customers. We invest significantly in R&D in order to stay close to new and upcoming regulations and standards.
LINK provides a range of capabilities for testing brake emissions on passenger cars, commercial vehicles, and rail applications. Depending on your testing needs, emissions features can be provided to conventional brake dynamometers (performance or NVH), retrofit of existing brake dynamometers, and/or dedicated brake emissions testers.
We have always worked with the industry to adapt to new legislation and regulations, from the copper-free rules implemented by Washington and California, to today's upcoming requirements from Euro 7.
The Model 4222 Brake Emission Measuring System is designed to accurately measure particulate mass and particulate number. The Model 4222+ has the additional capability to measure particulate size distribution conduct and real-time mass measurement.
The measuring system enables the operator to automate filter changing and have the machine provide real-time monitoring and operation. Filter tracking is also available via RFID. Additional instruments can measure particle size distribution and real-time mass measurement. LINK's design meets the UN-GTR 24 testing procedure and can support future R&D to understand better the factors influencing your emissions.
LINK's Emissions Pro & Pro+ dynamometers are designed to comply with the upcoming Euro 7 regulation, following the UN-GTR 24 guidelines, and beyond. Our design meets future testing needs, including highly regenerative brake systems and low drag measurement capabilities, among others.
LINK's Brake Emissions Upgrade allows customers to utilize their current machines and upgrade them to have emissions testing capabilities that meet the requirements for UN-GTR 24. LINK's design allows for the upgrade of current equipment to be emissions-capable, but also to change back to its original configuration. This change can be completed quickly, only taking approximately one work shift.
