Model 4222 Brake Emissions Particle Measuring System

LINK's Model 4222 Brake Emission Measuring System is designed to accurately measure Particle Mass (PM10 and PM2.5) and Particle Number (SPN and TPN). LINK's system meets the UN-GTR 24 and is also fit for future R&D by having size distribution and real-time mass measurement.

    Key Features

    • Features both PN Sampling and PM Sampling
    • Sampling units that are easy to transport, connect, and remove as needed
    • Designed for ease of transport when calibration or maintenance is due
    • Designed to work in harmony with ProLINK
    • Fully integrated with the brake dyno data for in-depth analysis
    • Dedicated PM direct connection to sampling probe and isokinetic sampling nozzles with no bends
    • Particle count capable of 1,000,000 #/cm³ in single count mode – able to measure any brake configuration.
    • Automated output for normalized sampling flow, PCRF, and normalized-PCRF corrected concentration per the UN-GTR 24
    • Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) built-in capabilities, synchronized between the Model 4222, the weighing room, ProLINK, and LabLINK
    • Integrated and automatic filter changer with double magazine slide-in module

The Model 4222+ Package is available with the following additions:
    • Size distribution cluster addition with the range of 5 nm up to 20 microns
    • Data from existing equipment can be integrated into ProLINK
    • Real-time PM measurement
    • Calculated PM generation over time
