Model 6900 - SAE 3213 Upgrade Kit

SAE International has released the SAE J3213 - Brake Dynamometer Squeal Noise Test Procedure for Commercial Vehicles with Air Brakes. The procedure is the first of its class for NVH brake evaluation which requires an equipment upgrade to properly perform this test. LINK offers a comprehensive upgrade kit for current Model 6900 performance brake dynamometers.

Equipment Upgrades Include:

An extension cap or new chamber to increase the height of the enclosure to place the microphone per SAE J3213
Acoustically insulated panels installed inside the enclosure to maintain interior noise levels below 70 dB(A)
NVH data acquisition system integrated with the ProLINK control system
Optionally, accelerometers can be added and integrated per section 7.3.9 of SAE J3213
