Moment of Inertia Test Stand
LINK’s Model 5200 Moment of Inertia stand accurately and repeatably measures the moment of inertia and center of gravity for tires, wheels, and other components small enough to fit on the compact tabletop package. This state-of-the-art system meticulously ensures accuracy and reliability by measuring the period of oscillation within the system, providing insight into the inertial properties of mounted objects.
The Moment of Inertia stand can also test non-tire components on a precision-manufactured adaptor plate, allowing the user to pinpoint the moment of inertia and center of gravity for the test components.
