    Torsional Fatigue Test Stand

    LINK's Torsional Fatigue Test Stand is designed for efficient testing of driveline components such as propshafts, half shafts, and more. The system consists of a heavy-duty base with a rotary input actuator mounted at one end of the base and a reaction fixture with a reaction type toque transducer at the other end. The Torsional Fatigue Test Stand provides the ability to easily perform various tests and test sequences such as:

    • Durability testing
    • Ultimate torque tests
    • Backlash tests
    • Creation of hysteresis loops in real time
    KEY FEATURES

    • ±50-degree rotation (full stroke) with 5 degree cushions each end, for an operational stroke of ±45 degrees
    • Wide range of sizes, ranging from 2,000 in-lb to over 500,000 in-lb. (226Nm to 56,492 Nm)
    • Actuator and torque cell are mounted on flexures which permit small amounts of axial deflection]
    • Manifold for servo-valve and hydraulic porting to the actuator
    • Designed for a variety of applications from static testing up to 30 Hz
    • Using modern CAD design and analysis tools, we can confidently modify a design for specific applications
