Our extensive portfolio of test services includes sample and full-scale laboratory testing, as well as fully instrumented vehicle testing, conducted at conveniently located facilities in Europe. Our team of experts can satisfy your testing needs, including local support in Germany, Italy, Spain, and beyond.
LINK strives to always be at the forefront of the engineering and technical requirement for brake testing to support the needs of our customers. We invest significantly in R&D in order to stay close to new and upcoming regulations and standards.
LINK provides a range of capabilities for testing brake emissions on passenger cars, commercial vehicles, and rail applications. Depending on your testing needs, emissions features can be provided to conventional brake dynamometers (performance or NVH), retrofit of existing brake dynamometers, and/or dedicated brake emissions testers. Available equipment includes:
Emissions Pro & Pro+ Dynamometers
LINK's Emissions Pro & Pro+ dynamometers are designed to comply with the upcoming Euro 7 regulation, following the UN-GTR 24 guidelines, and beyond. Our design meets future testing needs, including highly regenerative brake systems and low drag measurement capabilities, among others.
Model 4222 & Model 4222+ Brake Emissions Particle Measuring System
The Model 4222 Brake Emission Measuring System is designed to accurately measure particulate mass and particulate number. The Model 4222+ has the additional capability to measure particulate size distribution conduct and real-time mass measurement.
The measuring system enables the operator to automate filter changing and have the machine provide real-time monitoring and operation. Filter tracking is also available via RFID. Additional instruments can measure particle size distribution and real-time mass measurement. LINK's design meets the UN-GTR 24 testing procedure and can support future R&D to understand better the factors influencing your emissions.
Brake Emissions Upgrades
LINK's Brake Emissions Upgrade allows customers to utilize their current machines and upgrade them to have emissions testing capabilities that meet the requirements for UN-GTR 24. LINK's design allows for the upgrade of current equipment to be emissions-capable, but also to change back to its original configuration. This change can be completed quickly, only taking approximately one work shift. Available machines for upgrade:
The Limburg facility offers exceptional precision testing and reporting, vehicle setup, and support capabilities, and is continuously looking for ways to expand upon current service offerings to best serve the local region. Focused on bench and vehicle testing, emissions and CV testing, Brakes, eMobility, Hubs & Wheels.
LINK’s test laboratory in Magenta, Italy, has the latest testing laboratory equipment for NVH testing, performance, wear, and other customized solutions. If you have a need for servo testing, we specialize in the manufacturing of standard and customized servo-dynamic benches. In cooperation with Brembo SpA, the Engineering department of LINK Italy has developed a new concept of "Road Load System," fully integrated in a dynamometer.
Established in 2009, our Elz vehicle testing location is the competence center for V-Max development and support, brake NVH testing, brake endurance, and NVH engineering support. We have also expanded our capability in Durability Fleet Program Performance Testing (Voice of Customer/Reliability Growth/ADAS).
LINK established vehicle testing teams and local support in Mojácar in 2019 after seeing growing demand for LINK vehicle testing services in Spain. With availability of the office and shop area year-round, we provide brake NVH testing and brake endurance, with recently added capabilities in Durability Fleet Program Performance Testing (Voice of Customer/Reliability Growth/ADAS).
LINK designs and builds a wide range of test benches for the transportation industry, including the following test stands for components:
Servo Dynamics
For anything from servo hydraulic actuators or actuator repair services to large-scale earthquake simulators, new equipment, or equipment rebuild, LINK is the name you can trust. We supply an extensive range of servo dynamic components, load frames, and more.
LINK maks use of the wide range of actuators to create various Load Frames that can be used for a wide range of applications. The Load Frames can be broken down into two sub-groups depending on size – Structural Load Frames and Table Top Load Frames. As the names suggest, the Table Top Load Frames are smaller and designed to be placed on an existing table or work bench whereas the Structural Load Frames are standalone pieces of test equipment that have a much larger load capacity. Customer or product specific Load Frames can be designed and manufactured upon request.
LabLINK, Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)
LabLINK is modular by design, providing versatile solutions and enabling you to choose which modules will best fit your testing needs. Write test requests, dynamically schedule equipment, task team members, view real-time machine status, chart historical equipment utilization, receive automated notifications and alerts, integrate with existing business systems, and much more. LabLINK is comprised of five main modules, including:
