    BRAKE EMISSIONS TESTING SOLUTIONS

    Emissions Testing Portfolio

LINK provides a range of capabilities for testing brake emissions on passenger cars, commercial vehicles, and rail applications. Depending on your testing needs, emissions testing features can be provided to conventional brake dynamometers (performance or NVH), retrofit of existing brake dynamometers, and/or dedicated brake emissions testers.

    Emissions Pro & Pro+ Dynamometers

Emissions Pro & Pro+ dynamometers are designed to comply with the upcoming regulation requirements and beyond. Our dedicated brake emissions testing machines are designed to meet future testing needs, including highly regenerative brake systems and low drag measurement capabilities.

Model 4222 Brake Emissions Particle Measuring System

LINK’s M4222 Brake Emission Measuring System is designed to accurately measure Particle Mass (PM10 and PM2.5) and Particle Number (SPN and TPN). LINK’s design meets the UN GTR and also is designed for future R&D.

    Key Features

    • Features both PN Sampling and PM Sampling
    • Sampling units that are easy to transport, connect, and remove as needed
    • Designed for ease of transport when calibration or maintenance is due
    • Designed to work in harmony with ProLINK and communicate real time with the dyno
    • Dedicated direct connection to sampling probe and isokinetic sampling nozzles with no bends
    • Particle count capable of 1,000,000 #/cm³ in single count mode – able to measure any brake configuration.
    • Automated output for normalized sampling flow, PCRF, and normalized-PCRF corrected concentration per the UN GTR
    • Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) built in capabilities.
    • Integrated and automatic filter changer with double magazine slide-in module

Model 3900 NVH Brake Emissions Upgrades

LINK's Brake Emissions Dynamometer Upgrade allows customers to utilize their current NVH machines and upgrade them to have emissions testing capabilities. LINK's design allows for the upgrade of current equipment to be emissions capable but also to change back to its performance and NVH configuration, only taking approximately one work shift.
