Built for a Digital Age. Managing Made Simple.
    LabLINK
LabLINK is a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) Designed and Developed by Link Engineering Company

    LabLINK

    Laboratory Information Management System

    How It Works

LabLINK is modular by design, providing versatile solutions and enabling you to choose which modules will best fit your testing needs. Write test requests, dynamically schedule equipment, task team members, view real-time machine status, chart historical equipment utilization, receive automated notifications and alerts, integrate with existing business systems, and much more.

LabLINK is comprised of five main modules. The program can be implemented as a complete package or as standalone modules with the ability to add modules in the future. This enables you to create a customized solution based on your budget, needs and priorities.

    Lab Management Chart
    1. Test Request Module: An intuitive interface for creating test requests in the laboratory.
    2. Scheduling Module: Serves as a user-friendly mechanism to organize, view, and control all scheduled tasks within the laboratory.
    3. Lab Monitor Module: Provides real-time and historical views of machine status and efficiency through the use of customizable charts that can be created on the fly or saved as favorites.
    4. Maintenance Module: Acts as a single-point of reference for tracking the maintenance status of all machines.
    5. Data Warehouse Module: Provides extensive data management and analysis capability across a range of data formats including ProLINK, TDMS, CSV, and others. Automatically archive “cold data” to a long-term storage repository whether on premises or in the cloud.

    Enhanced Test Data Analysis

New features include extensive data management and test data analysis functionality. Updates to our Data Warehouse module now offer increased utility and flexibility for technicians, engineers managers, and IT professionals, consisting of:

    • Data from multiple sources can now be attached to a LabLINK test request, and test request form fields provide a rich set of meta-data useful for both searching and reporting

    • The data upload utility facilitates the upload of data to LabLINK from equipment or non-equipment data sources such as data acquisition systems, picture stations, measurement stations, and network file server locations

    • The data download utility can stream acquired data to an interested engineer’s computer for processing as the test is executing

    • The LabLINK UI has been updated for direct data review of ProLINK, TDMS, and CSV data. Additionally, other data formats can be configured for direct viewing in LabLINK.

    • Data management capabilities have also been introduced and include:
      • Hot data management facilitated by “Data Agents” which are assignable and potentially distributed CPU/RAM resources responsible for the handling of “Hot” data stored in LabLINK.
      • Warm data management supported by setpoints for the maximum space that local data is configured to occupy in the local LabLINK data volume or the amount of time elapsed since data was last viewed.
      • Cold data management that provides the ability to seamlessly move data from warm storage to longer term cold storage. Cold storage may be another local data volume or a cloud based data repository such as Wasabi or AWS.
      • Unique data management configurations and privileges that ensure that data handling is only conducted by authorized personnel. For example, the movement of data from long-term cold storage back to warm storage is protected by system privileges that are assignable by your local LabLINK administrator.
